The Aprilaire 1180 Humidifier is a commercial steam humidifier that allows you to hang it from the wall, and can easily be installed into your existing duct work. This unit is capable of delivering 48 pounds of steam per hour and requires 240 volt, three-phase power. This works by measuring how far the actual building RH is away from set point and sending the appropriate signal to the humidifier. Modulation is referred to as either time based or time proportional, meaning that the heaters will come on at 100% and then be cycled on and off to achieve the desired humidifier output. The 1180 is capable of delivering 48 pounds of steam per hour and requires 240 volt single phase power.
